The 1000 year-old village of Mayfield liesten minutes south of the Spa town of Royal Tunbridge Wells. Centrally located it has London, Brighton, Eastboume, Gatwick Airport and Canterbury within one hour. Within the middle of an area of outstanding natural beauty Mayfield is an ideal point from which to visit castles and battlefields, cathedrals and forests, steam railways and Iron Age forts. Glyndebourne offers music and outdoor events; a day at the races can be found at Plumpton or Lingfield racecourses. There are many great golf courses, including the East Sussex National, nearby fisheries and delightful walks abound.

From London Leave M25 Junction 5 towards A21 Sevenoaks, Hastings. Take A26, Southborough, Tunbridge Wells Follow A267, signposted Frant until you pick up signs for Mayfield and the hotel can be found iii the middle of the High Street.

From Brighton - Take the A27 towards Lewes and join the A2 towards Tunbridge Wells. Continue straight on until roundabout with A272 towards Heathfield. Take the first exit and turn immediately left to A26. Continue straight on over the traffic lights along A272. At T-junction turn left onto the A267 (signposted Tunbridge Wells). Continue into Mayfield and the hotel can be found in the middle of the High street.
